INTERNAL EXAMINATION



One must remember that patients 
interested in wearing contact lenses 
can have any ocular problem that any 
other patient might have including 
retinal disease, glaucoma, and 
neurological disorders.  Therefore, a 
complete internal examination including 
direct ophthalmoscopy, indirect 
binocular ophthalmoscopy and 90 D 
lens, as well as other indicated tests 
may be required.
